摘要
Single crystals of PdCoO2 have been successfully grown using the metathetical reaction. The obtained crystals have silverly metallic lustre and a well-habited hexagonal platelet shape. Anisotropic temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity and magnetic susceptibility have been first clarified. The resistivities both perpendicular and parallel to the c-axis show a metallic behavior with large anisotropy. The resistivities perpendicular to the c-axis are particularly in order of mu Omega cm at room temperature, which are lowest among the usual, normal state oxides.
