摘要
This study is based on synthesis and characterization of three different clays (Untreated-Bentonite noted Un-Bt, Sodic-Bentonite Na-Bt,and Poly Acrylic Acid Bentonite PolyAcry--Bt). These three complexes clays were characterized by bothXray diffraction (XRD) and Fluorescence(XRF)Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), textural measurements (BET specific surface areas and porosities) and the cationic exchange capacity (CEC). Corresponding results obtained confirm the good purification and sodification of raw bentonite, then the obtention of the sodic bentonite indicated by Na-Bt also the better polymerization of acrylic acid monomer into layer spacing of the sodic bentonite clay by in situ intercalative polymerization mechanizm process, then the formation of nanocomposite-sodic clay identified by PolyAcry--Bt. The results obtained give basal spacing values around15.34 A degrees, 12.55 A degrees and 14.94 A degrees, respectively for verified two aims firstly: The originality of this research, secondly to decrease the cost production of the adsorbents. Sorption kinetic study of nitrate ions (NO3-) on these two matrices Na-Bt, PolyAcry--Btrespectively: Werecarried out using kinetic models of pseudo -first, pseudo -second -order and intraparticulare diffusion. Results obtained at the conditions studies (room temperatureT = 25 degrees C), at low concentration of acrylic acid monomer (0.02M)and (acidic medium pH = 4.83) show clearly the good validityof the pseudo -second -order model which gives a better correlation coefficient both, forPolyAcry - Bt(R-2 = 0.999) compared to that obtained results by Na - Bt(R-2 = 0.960). Adsorption isotherms give adsorbed amounts of about 40.25mg.g(-1) onto PolyAcrac - Bt complexe, respectively, and 19.50mg.g(-) for Na - Bt as referenceadsorbent.These results indicated the adsorption of nitrate anions (NO3-)by the Algerian organo clays named the nano composites (by the sorption kinetic through chemisorptions) on the surfacesites of each used modified complexes clays.
