摘要
In order to reduce the differentia settlement of the widening embankment,with the finite element analysis,the differentia settlement characteristics of the old embankment and widened embankment is analyzed. The result shows that the settlement distribution of the widened embankment will change along with the increase of embankment height. The biggest settlement is in the hard shoulder when the height is low,and it will move to the edge of embankment outside when the height is big. The maximum value of ground horizontal displacement is under a certain depth in the foundation,while not in the surface. It moves outside with the embankment height,and will move to the foundation of widened embankment when the height is 4m. The maximum value of the vertical stress and shearing stress distribution also gradually increase with the increase of embankment height, the vertical stress maximum value moves to the center of the embankment slope, and the shearing stress maximum value moves from the old slope to the new slope.
