摘要
One of the keys of the Alternating Cycle Education System is the commitment of teachers - usually called "monitors" in this System - with multiple functions beyond mere teaching. The multifunctionality that is requested is just the cause of several difficulties associated with a professional profile that is not easy to find. Some of them are related to the teaching performance in the starting moment and others are manifested along the professional way. Both seem to find a solution, at least in part, through formation, but we are speaking about a relevant training of teachers for Alternating Cycle System which can be consistent with it. This article, which starts from a bibliographic review and from the study of previous experiences rather than of specific facts analyzed under a specific methodology, aims to briefly explain the profile of the alternating school teacher, outlines the problem of its function and writes down some possible solutions through formation that are applicable - even if they require some adaptations - in any territorial context. It remains for further studies both the deepening in the diagnosis of problems, and the detailed study of the training proposals.
