Effect of Initial Stress, Rotation and Gravity on Propagation of the Surface Waves in Fibre-Reinforced Anisotropic Solid Elastic Media

摘要
This paper investigates the surface waves of fibre-reinforced elastic media in an initially stressed, homogeneous, anisotropic, half-space subjected to rotation and gravity field have been investigated. The theory of generalized surface waves developed and then it employed to investigate particular cases of waves, viz., Rayleigh waves, Love waves and Stoneley waves. The analytical solution for the components of displacement and stresses are obtained in the physical domain by using the harmonic vibrations. The frequency equations have been obtained in the different cases. The numerical results are given and iulastrated graphically. Comparison was made with the results obtained in the presence and absence of initial stress, rotation, gravity and parameters for fibrere-inforced of the material media. The results indicate that the effect of initial stress, rotation, gravity and parameters of fibre-reinforced of the material media are very pronounced.
