摘要
This article analyzes the role that memory plays in the postdictatorship student movement of the nineties in Chile. For this purpose, it analysis sixteen interviews with student activists, experts and academics. Through them it is possible to observe the relevant place that memory of Chile's recent past has for the postdictatorship student movement. Contrary to the political climate of the day, the activists involved rescue and revitalize the memory of both Popular Unity's and dictatorship, building a field of struggle which is crucial for the development of of the collective identities that will head the social mobilizations in Chile. Its interpretation varies between the different political groups, ranging from a memory of the tragedy, a functional one, to an antagonistic memory.
