摘要
This paper proposes an accurate and efficient method to analyze the characteristics of high-power microwave (HPM) air breakdown in microstrip structures. The prediction of breakdown threshold is transformed into the solution of the eigenvalue equation, which is calculated by the high accuracy spectral-element time-domain (SETD) method numerically. The great accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method have been demonstrated by comparing the proposed method with the commercial software SPARK3D.
