High power tunable all fiber double-clad Er:Yb:silicate fiber laser

摘要：

A tunable double-clad Er:Yb doped fiber laser is realized and characterized. The fiber is side-pumped with two counter-propagating laser diodes. A unidirectional ring cavity is used and all elements are mounted with optical connectors. The laser delivers up to 1.1 W in a 28-nm spectral range around 15 50 nm. The spectral linewidth is about 0.7 nm within the whole spectral range for all pumping powers. (c) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
