摘要
An accurate short circuit current evaluation is necessary for the analysis of accidents, for the investigation of relay protection operating conditions or for the research purposes. The most changing short circuit currents near the generators are investigated in the paper. A typical power unit schemes for short circuit current calculation, the exact mathematical models that evaluates asymmetry of generators and auxiliary influence of induction motors are analyzed. The maximum available momentum short circuit values at Ignalina nuclear power plant are calculated and possible measurement errors of current transformers are examined.
