Study on the Development Strategy of the Internationalization of Private Universities in Fujian Based on SWOT Analysis Method

With the deepening of the globalization, the concept of education internationalization has received wide recognition and praise from all sectors of society after years of practice. Therefore, the internationalization of the higher education has gradually become an important path for the private universities to enhance the attraction of enrollment, improve their reputations and expand the social influence. The private universities in Fujian province have actively taken the internationalized road, which is an important measure to enhance the ability of survival and development in the process of competition with the public institutions under the background of the decrease of students. Based on the SWOT analysis method, the advantages, the weaknesses, the opportunities and the treat that the private universities may face in the process of international development have been organized and analyzed, and then the corresponding development strategies have been also put forward.
