Laparoscopic sacropexy -: An underestimated method of vaginal vault surgery

摘要：

Sacrocolpopexy is a classic method to treat vaginal vault prolapse. in Germany only a few clinics use a laparoscopic approach, although it offers several advantages compared to open surgery. This article describes our modified laparoscopic approach with interposition of a mesh, which has been successfully used over the last two and a half years in about 200 patients. In addition to the reduced morbidity and a high acceptance by patients there are also cost advantages. The operation takes about one hour using the modified approach presented here.
