摘要
Lithium sulphur (Li-S) battery with high energy density is considered as a promising energy storage system, but it is seriously hindered due to the shuttle effect and the slow redox chemical reaction of sulphur cathode. Herein, the annealed melamine foam loaded MoSe2 (CF@MoSe2) is prepared by a simple one-step hydrothermal method. Tellurium-doped MoSe2 (CF@Te-MoSe2) is further fabricated by annealing treatment in order to improve the catalytic activity. As a multifunctional interlayer, the CF@Te-MoSe2 inhibits the shuttle effect, improves redox kinetics, and-discharge polarisation of Li-S batteries. Meanwhile, the batteries based on CF@Te-MoSe2 interlayer remain discharge capacity 901 mAh g(-1) after 100 cycles. Importantly, the batteries based on CF@Te-MoSe2 interlayer delivers high initial areal capacity of 5.7 mAh cm(-2) under high sulphur mass loading of 6.3 mg cm(-2). This interlayer provides a new reference for the advanced Li-S batteries.
