Fractional exclusion statistics and shot noise in ballistic conductors

摘要：

We have studied the noise properties of ballistic conductors with carriers satisfying fractional exclusion statistics. We have found that the noise properties of weakly degenerate systems under current saturation conditions depend upon the statistical parameter g, displaying sup, pressed shot noise for 1/2 <= g <= 1, and enhanced shot noise for 0 < g < 1/2, according to the atractive or repulsive nature of the carriers exclusion statistics.
