摘要：

As a branch of non-excavation, directional drilling has been widely applied in pipeline constructions. Taking the project of DN630 water supply pipeline directional drilling crossing the Huaihe river as a typical example, this paper describes the characteristics of directional drilling technology, pointing out the basic design principles such as crossing angles, curvature radius and the depth under the bottom of the Huaihe river, and indicates the construction process, drilling pilot holes, back-pulling technology and mud preparation quality control in the construction.
