摘要
The last-mile delivery in urban areas is the biggest challenge for carriers. In recent years, e-commerce has experienced strong growth, which has caused an explosion in the number of packages to be delivered. Businesses no longer hesitate to invest in new technologies such as artificial intelligence and drones. In this paper, we present a model of autonomous truck delivery resupply by drones, introducing the concept of transshipment point. Through comparisons with other delivery models, we show that our solution can be economically viable and improve the lives of inhabitants and customers. Copyright (C) 2022 The Authors.
