A study on the active coals thermal and chemical regeneration methods

摘要
The paper presents the research results on the regeneration of the active carbons prepared by thermal- and physico-chemical methods from fruit kernels. The active coal wasted during the chloro- and nitro-substituted anilines adsorption process was studied by thermoanalytical methods, establishing the temperature range which must be reached in order to recover the adsorbing capacity. The thermal regeneration assures the quantitative recovery of the initial adsorbing capacity while the solvent regeneration (i.e. ethyl alcohol and acetone) results io having the adsorption capacity.
