摘要
Reducing electricity consumption in water supply pump station not only eases the tension of the national energy shortage, but also improves the economic benefits of water supply companies. The optimal model makes use of the latest advances in hybrid genetic algorithm to automatically determine the least-cost pump operation for each pump station in large-scale water distribution system while satisfying microscopic hydraulic performance requirements. The microscopic hydraulic model of the real water distribution system contains 115010 junctions, 89 pumps and 117752 pipes whose diameter not less than 75 mm with modeling software named Epanet. Calibration results of the microscopic model were pretty good. The precision of the microscopic model could satisfy the requirement for pump operation optimization. With the rapid development of computer hardware and software, the calculation time of optimal control model was greatly saved. The results of optimal control model for the water distribution system in City S showed that the microscopic model for optimal control had remarkable advantage.
