摘要：
In this preliminary study, we have synthesized porous silica/poly(ethylene glycol) (SiO2/PEG) composite materials and investigated the effects of organic polymer content, molecular weight, and reaction time. The tendency towards phase separation and the time of gelation are strongly dependent on the processing variables. Microstructural information is obtained from nitrogen sorption and scanning electron microscopy.
