摘要
Solution NMR studies of the interaction between the hexanucleotide d(GTCGAC)(2), beta-cyclodextrin and a boronated 2,2':6',2 ''-terpyridineplatinum(II) complex containing 1,12-dicarba-closo-dodecaborane(12) (1,12-closo-carborane) reveal the formation of a remarkable ternary supramolecular system in which the terpyridine ligand is intercalated between the C-3 and G(4) bases, whilst the closo-carborane moiety is encapsulated by the cyclic sugar.
