摘要
A hybrid integrated tunable narrow-linewidth laser is demonstrated in this paper. The hybrid laser comprises a commercial DFB laser butt-coupled to an external cavity with a micro-ring resonator. A transfer matrix model has been presented and the wavelength performance of the laser has been analyzed. In the experiment, the hybrid laser Lorentzian linewidth is similar to 5KHz and the tuning range is similar to 2.75 nanometer.
