摘要：

We study the uniqueness of solution for the following boundary value problem involving a nonlocal equation of Kirchhoff type {-(a + b integral(Omega)vertical bar del u vertical bar(2) dx)Delta u = lambda f (u) in Omega, u(vertical bar partial derivative Omega) = 0. Here, Omega is a bounded open set in R(n) with smooth boundary, a, b, lambda are positive real numbers and f :R -> R is a continuous function. In particular, we give an answer to an open problem recently proposed by B. Ricceri. (c) 2010 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
