摘要
A very simple sequential model predictive control (SMPC) is recently proposed to achieve high performance control of induction motor (IM) drives. By evaluating two separate cost functions for torque and stator flux amplitude in a cascaded way, the weighting factor in conventional MPC is eliminated. However, SMPC cannot achieve stable operation over the full speed range. if the cost function for stator flux is firstly evaluated. This paper proposes a generalized SMPC which is effective when any one of the two cost functions is firstly evaluated. This increases the stability and universality of conventional SMPC. The experimental results confirms the effectiveness of the proposed method.
