Gulf War syndrome: A toxic exposure? A systematic review

Some veterans serving in the first Persian Gulf War reported a constellation of unexplained symptoms-Gulf War syndrome (GWS). Several groups have attempted to link exposure to war-related toxins to the development of GWS. This article reviews the evidence regarding the possible role of toxins exposure in causing GWS.
