摘要
Based upon the stressor-strain-outcome framework, this study proposes that perceived system feature overload, information overload, and social overload are stressors which induce strain, in terms of social network fatigue and dissatisfaction. Both of social network fatigue and dissatisfaction further influence discontinuous use intention. The empirical results indicate that three types of perceived overload exert greater effects on social network fatigue than dissatisfaction, both of which further increase users' intention of discontinuance. The study also finds that demographic characteristics, such as gender and age, also have moderating effects on these relationships. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
