摘要
A CPW-fed, ultra-wideband, antenna with a band-notch characteristic is presented. The antenna consists of a CPW ground with a wide slot, a fork-like radiation patch, a tuning stub and a 50 SI CPW-fed structure. The notched band frequency is obtained by inserting a tuning stub in the middle of the fork-like patch. The notched band frequency can be controlled by adjusting the length of the stub. Experimental and numerical results show that the proposed antenna, with a compact size of 21 x 28 mm, has an impedance bandwidth range from 3.1 to 10.9 GHz for a VSWR less than 2, with the expected notch band frequency of 5 to 6 GHz for WLAN.
