Electro-optic coefficients in H+-ion implanted LiNbO3 planar waveguide

摘要
The electro-optic properties of proton implanted LiNbO3 waveguides are investigated by measuring the guided mode angular shift when an electric field is applied. It is shown that the values of the r(13) and r(33) electro-optic coefficients are rather well preserved in the waveguides, being independent of the implanted-proton dose in the investigated range (1-10x10(16) ions/cm(2)).
