IS THERE A CONFLICT BETWEEN SCIENCE AND CHRISTIAN THEISM? SOME NOTES ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RELIGIOUS WORLD- VIEW AND SCIENTIFIC PRACTICE

This paper intends to offer an anwser to the question about the existence of conflict between science , religion, more specifically Christian theism. To achieve this purpose, I presente a conceptualization of scientific practice, its methods, objectives and limits; and a speculation on the nature of Christian theism as a way of life. In the end, I realize an analysis based on the theoretical reconstructions of both domains and I argue that the conflict thesis is non-existent, although relative.
