摘要
Hormesis is a biological phenome-non characterized by opposite effects between low and high doses of stresses that can result in stimulatory and adaptive bene-fits to individuals within a popula-tion. While evidence of hormesis is well established, two recent studies (Nogueira et al., Belz and Sinkkonen) suggest that hormesis can also offer transgenerational benefit.
