摘要：

The concept of building up the territory's safety, based on hazard and risk assessments of the three variable elements, is considered, as is the installation impact on the environment and the relevant hazards. The important factor is the entire and timely supply of information concerning the natural-technogenous environmental conditions on the basis of the controls over the variability of natural and technical properties of the various installations within the investigated areas, and the formation of natural hazard databases within the limits of modern geo-information technologies, such as GIS. Features of the total monitoring over the organizational structure for an assessment of hazards and risks are represented in an example of a local area network in the field of building and operation of the mining industry companies.
