Fast transient boiling of water-acetone mixture under short-pulsed laser heating

The platinum film resistor immerged in water-acetone mixture is heated by short pulsed-laser to investigate the mixture's boiling behavior under rapid temperature rise condition. It shows that the vapor bubbles in the mixture whose acetone volume fraction is small are smaller than those are in the distilled pure water. Tiny vapor bubbles appear when the water volume fraction is small in the mixture. Boiling doesn't occur in the distilled pure water even if it is heated to 420K. The max flux absorbed by mixture increases when the water or acetone's volume fraction is smaller than 0.1. It exists an appropriate volume fraction to get low temperature of platinum film resistor.
