摘要
The Profibus communication network is widely employed in industrial environment. For many of reasons, mainly financial, purchasing equipment to provide a real Profibus network to facilitate learning or simulate failures becomes extremely difficult. Faced with these issues, many professionals do not have appropriate knowledge to deal with failures and it contributes to decrease the protocol performance. In this sense, this work presents a proposal of a free software which simulates Profibus DP networks to provide a way to learn about the behavior of this protocol.
