摘要
Solid solutions of BaSnO3-SrSnO3 (Ba1-xSrxSnO3) are synthesized using conventional solid state route. Single. The prepared ceramics are single phase with cubic structure for x= 0.75 and 0.80 as confirmed by x-ray diffraction. For x= 0.90, the material stabilized in orthorhombic phase. Relatively porous materials are synthesized with almost temperature independent dielectric permittivity. Dielectric response show low temperature dielectric dispersion at low frequency showing space charge phenomena arising due to defects. The synthesized ceramic may be used as potential ceramic materials for gas sensing.
