Self-organization of spherical nanoparticles in two- and three-dimensional superlattices - Interconnected network of nanomaterial

摘要
Syntheses of nanosized particles have been performed by using reverse micelles as microreactors. The size of the nanoparticles are controlled by the size of the micelles. The particles are coated and dispersed in hexane. By deposition of the particles on a carbon grid, 2D and 3D superlattices organized in hexagonal and face centered cubic structure respectively. Two size selection methods are presented. Elongated aggregates forming an interconnected network of copper metallic particles are build up by using oil in water micelles.
