摘要
SETI@home is a radio SETI project that does its primary signal analysis using Internet-connected computers. In the first five months of operation of SETI@home, a million people have participated, and have contributed 100,000 years of computer time. The use of distributed computing limits frequency coverage but allows greater sensitivity and generality in the signal analysis.
