摘要
Angular effects of the laser polarization on the photodetachment of H- near a spherical cavity is investigated. The photodetachment cross section of this system has been derived and calculated based on theoretical imaging method. The laser polarization angle theta(L) has significant effect on the photodetachment cross section of H- near spherical cavity. In addition, for a given spherical cavity, the peaks in the cross-section shift with the increase in r(c). Hence, we can control the photodetachment of H- near a spherical cavity by changing the laser polarization angle and radius of the spherical cavity. This study gives new understanding on the photodetachment process of negative ions in the presence of spherical cavities or surfaces.
