摘要
Based on the evaluation indicator system concerning the coupling between urbanization and water resources and environment system and GRA (Grey Relationship Analysis) method, taking Liangzhou District as case study, this paper reveals the main factors influencing the coupling between urbanization and water resources and environment and the temporal distribution of the coupling degrees. The results show:(1) Low social service level, rapid urbanization and irrational industrial structure are the main momentums of urbanization influencing water resources and environment, while water pollution, water shortage and low water management level are the main factors of water resources and environment affecting urbanization, which verify the interactive and complicated coupling between two systems.(2) the curve of the change of coupling degrees present a combined and continuous "U" shape as the population urbanization grow, which verify the complexity between urbanization and water resources and environment systems. (3) According to its undulatory characteristics, the change of coupling degrees could be divided into two phases in time series. During the first phase the curve present a "W" shape from 2001 to 2008, which verifies the Law of Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC). The coupling degrees are in decline during the second phase from 2008 to 2010, which verifies that the ecological deterioration had eased since 2007 when the Key Control Plan of Shiyang River Basin in Gansu Province was published.
