Various models can be developed in the thermodynamical formalism, using several plasticity mechanisms and one or two criteria. This paper is devoted to the 2M1C model, with two mechanisms and one criterion. Its application is focused on cyclic loading, small strains are considered. The total strain is decomposed into a thermoelastic part and several inelastic components. The approach considered here can describe the inelastic behavior by using different deformation mechanisms. The present work is focused on the case of coupling the kinematic hardening variables, in order to describe complex phenomena like ratcheting at high mean stress, but also either adaptation or plastic shakedown for lower mean stress.
