摘要
Silicon Photomultipliers can be considered as novel detectors with single-photon counting capability. In this work, we present an integrable CMOS interface, based on second-generation Rail-To-Rail voltage conveyor (VCII-RTR), for Silicon-based photomultiplier. The VCII-RTR works as a transimpedance amplifier guaranteeing a constant bandwidth with respect to the wanted tunable gain. We here propose only simulation results which show general good circuit performances, confirming that the proposed architecture can be used in Si-based Silicon Photomultiplier. The already proposed and here utilized VCII-RTR has a total power consumption of 120 mu W with a voltage swing on the Z terminal of +/- 0.83 V, while on the X terminals it is +/- 0.72 V.
