摘要
To ensure the reliability of lightpaths' transmission in optical networks, it is essential to predict the quality of transmission (QoT) of the candidate lightpaths before their routing, wavelength, and modulation format assignment (RWMA). We propose a digital twin-assisted margin-aware RWMA (M-RWMA) scheme in optical networks, where a mirror model is built to predict the margin of all previously deployed lightpaths. The simulation results show that the accuracy of the mirror model is verified, and the M-RWMA scheme reduces the number of unreliable lightpaths compared with the classic RWMA scheme.
