Electrochemical deposition of Fe2O3/graphene composites for energy storage

摘要
Fe2O3/graphene composites were successfully fabricated by the electrochemical deposition method. The obtained samples were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The Fe2O3/graphene nanocomposites are uniformly loaded on the electrode. To assess the electrochemical capacity of composites, cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charging-discharging measurements were performed in 1 mol/L Na2SO3. The result demonstrates that the composite electrode exhibits an excellent specific capacitance of 194 F/g at 1 A/g and the charge-discharge stability measurements indicate a capacity retention of 87.8% after 1000 cycles. The outstanding capacitance and good cycling stability demonstrate that the nanocomposite is a quite promising electrode material for supercapacitors.
