摘要
Foreign literature teaching is a compulsory and important part for language learners. Given the foreign literature's features as being closely related with language, being original and especially being a medium carrying strong cultural sense, the teaching of foreign literature should not be confined to the traditional teaching model, which concentrates on judging the effect of the teaching from the scores got in examinations based on understanding of single words and text itself. Based on academic research, the teachers should tell the students how to expand the meaning of their studying of foreign literature into the understanding of the writers, readers and the connotations of foreign culture, which is the true significance of foreign literature. Based on the relationship between "teaching" and "learning", the teaching and evaluation models of foreign literature teaching based on academic research really deserve an in-depth study.
