摘要
With the growth of the online sales market, there is a new demand for apps to facilitate and enhance the customer's online shopping experience. One example is clothing stores, which make customers favor buying in physical stores for the certainty that the clothes will fit perfectly. In this sense, computer vision can be used to enhance the customer experience by virtually reconstructing the customer's body, allowing the use of a virtual model to show the fit of the clothing on the body, to suggest models based on the customer's physical characteristics, and to provide measurements for custom clothing manufacturing. This paper describes the most important part of this technology, which is the 3D reconstruction of the body using a camera. Using a video, a point cloud is generated and the body is extracted from this point cloud. From this, a parametric model of the torso is fitted using an optimization algorithm.
