MIDURR: A Technique to Minimize the Duplication of Route Requests in Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks

摘要
A Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of wireless nodes and having capacity to communicate with each other without the need of Access Points (AP's). MANET isself-organizingand easily deployable networks. They are mainly suitable for emergencies, natural disasters, military and rescue operations. Wireless links play a major role for forwarding packets between the end points. Obviously, it is necessary to send route request to all the neighboring nodes for identifying the nearest hosts. There are more number of algorithms exists to minimize the unnecessary requests for maximum utilization of available bandwidth. The objectives of this paper are to propose a technique to minimize the duplication of route requests (MIDURR) in MANET. The outcome of the MIDURR techniqueis to minimize the route request to save the energy.
