摘要
In order to describe hydration of cement paste at the early age, another original in-situ technique is here presented for looking at hydration of fresh pastes. It is based on Acoustic Emission (AE) signal monitoring. Two kinds of signal analysis have been performed : amplitude and frequency analysis. From the obtained results, it appears that this "passive technique" allows a continuous and an in-situ monitoring of cement paste setting and, through the frequency analysis, gives some information (frequency shift) which could be related to the liquid-to-solid state change.
