Influence of light intensity and crystal temperature on photorefractive charge-compensation processes in Al-doped Bi12TiO20 crystals

摘要
Photorefractive charge-compensation processes in bismuth-titanium-oxide crystals (Bi12TiO20) doped with Al are examined by holographic experiments. Our results clearly indicate that the compensating positive charges are thermally excited while the excitation of electrons is optically induced.
