Personal Information Management (PIM) is intended to support the activities that are performed to order our daily lives through the acquisition, organizations, maintenance, retrieval and sharing of information. Vannevar Bush, director of the US Office of Scientific R and D visioned using technology to support PIM through the creation of Memex, a device in which an individual stores all his books, records and communications. The ubiquity of computing and communications and the miniaturization of computing devices makes the information to be taken anywhere in the world. Wanda Pratt et al. discussed the special relevance of PIM to patients, especially those in a long-term illness like breast cancer. Better PIM means better use of time by developing creative, intelligent use of the informations to get things done.
