Magnetic field dependence of the properties of excitons confined in a quantum disk

摘要
The influence of an externally applied magnetic field on the properties of an exciton confined in a quantum disk al e investigated. The confinement potential is a hard wall of finite height. Finite difference techniques are used to solve the two-particle Schrodinger equation. The dependences of the diamagnetic shift on the effective mass and disk radius are studied. Our theoretical results compare well with the e,experimental results of Wang et al.
