摘要：

Calculations by Fayache er at: [Phys. Rev. C 57, 2351 (1998)] find no low-lying intruder states in Be-8, in contrast with the situation in Be-10 and C-12. It is argued that the models they used are not sufficiently realistic for their results to settle the question of whether or not such states exist in 8Be. [S0556-2813(99)02005-1].
