The last literary reader: Ricardo Piglia

This article presents an analysis of the concept of literary reader derived from the study of the literary work of Ricardo Piglia. It contains three parts: the first one is centered on the figure of Piglia as a literary reader and his main role in the formation of a writer who learns to write. The second part corresponds to an examination about the way in which Piglia has constructed a process of oral and written reflection about his own role as a literary critic. The third part deals with three kinds of reading: strategic, poetic fictionalization and technical.
