摘要
Distance learning through information and communication technologies is becoming increasingly popular. It enables long-distance education, expanding education and staff qualifications. Distance learning helps with frequent changes in requirements for new skills and competencies of workers. Experience shows that the outcomes of distance students are often worse than those of full-time students, especially at the beginning of studies. This article shows a comparison of results achieved by distance learning students and those attending traditional classes. The article describes the importance of the teacher and his influence on the quality of distance learning. A questionnaire survey was conducted among teachers. The results show the teachers' attitude to distance learning.
